for the Energy Sector

Calgary, AB, April 23, 2025 – Sound QI is proud to announce the official launch of Maestro™, a powerful platform that redefines how energy professionals interpret complex spatial data. The public release of Maestro will be celebrated during a special event on April 23 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, followed by a larger showcase on May 7, 2025, at our head office in Calgary, Canada.

Built on Sound QI’s proprietary multi-attribute interpretation methodology, Maestro offers a dynamic, user-friendly environment where geological, geophysical, engineering, and operational data can be harmonized for rapid insight and collaboration. Designed to serve cross-disciplinary teams, Maestro empowers users to explore their datasets with unprecedented clarity, flexibility, and speed.

“Maestro represents a major step in our vision to create a truly interactive and dynamic multi-dimensional data interpretation platform. We are excited to reveal Maestro’s fresh new look and unique functionality that has the potential to revolutionize the way industry interacts with data.” - Laurie Weston

Maestro evolved from Sound QI’s QI-Pro Software. As the software grew in functionality—enabling deeper analysis, faster workflows, and broader integration across disciplines—the need for a new brand became clear. Maestro better reflects the platform’s ability to orchestrate data from multiple sources into cohesive, actionable insight, aligned with how the way today’s energy professionals want to approach complex interpretation challenges.

With a visual logic approach and powerful 3D interactivity, Maestro allows users to classify scan, and interpret data using intelligent automation, real-time feedback, composite class displays, and customizable criteria hierarchies.

Key Features Include:

  • Interactive 3D visualization of spatial and well data

  • Real-time cross-plot classification and scanning

  • Integration across seismic, engineering, drilling, and reservoir datasets

  • Custom map grids and spatial point visualization

  • Compatibility with existing software and plug-ins

  • Intuitive interface free of black-box algorithms

  • Automated attribute investigation

Designed for industry professionals who value both logic and creativity, Maestro unlocks a new level of reservoir understanding. The platform is particularly well-suited to complex, high-risk projects where rapid and confident decision-making is essential.
